We dedicate our
2010 Shiba Inu Rescue calendar to a special group of Shibas whose heart-rending tales they hope you will share with others. Our calendar includes the story of three groups of Shibas that all came from one puppy mill that was closed down this summer.
Meet twelve months of special dogs that survived horrific circumstances, such as Love Bug on our October page. Love Bug's front paw, broken in four places, had healed wrong, as had two ribs; two compressed discs in her back caused pain, and she needed FHO surgery to remove the bone-on-bone femoral head that caused extreme pain. After rehabilitation, she can live a normal life, loved and cared for in a way she's never known.
She's one of twenty-one dogs that touched our hearts this year! Withour your support, we cannot do what they desperately need to have done. Please give these dogs a second chance!
